Creating Positive Change
There are times in life when you may feel stuck. You may be in a situation that is making you unhappy, however you might be lacking the motivation or extra push to help you create positive change in life. Sometimes you are not even sure what it is that you want - and that is also OK.
If a you are unclear as to what your goal is, take a look at each area of your life. Those areas may include: Family, friends, health, career, finances, physical location, hobbies, and love life. The more areas you cover, the more clear vision of the current situation you create for yourself.
Begin by determining on a scale of one to ten (ten being best) how you feel about each of those areas of life. After determining which area has the lowest number, you can then think about what you can do to make that area a “ten”.
Once a you have determined what your desired goal (or dream) is, you can then begin to focus on it by determining what steps need to taken in order to get there. One thing to consider is that even though you may not be happy with the current situation, it was that situation that launched your dream. So it is important to appreciate where you are in your life currently, which helps to create a positive mental attitude. This attitude can help you to move in the right direction more quickly.
Also, it is a good idea to surround yourself with other people who have similar goals. This support system can add more motivation, and can provide even more ideas which will help you to reach the goal.
Determination is key, because the person who does not reach their goal is usually the one who gave up before they reached the “finish line”.
Consider that Thomas Edison tried 700 (!!) times before inventing the light bulb. Sometimes, you simply need to keep trying and not give up.
